Liza and I have been living and creating work under the same roof for over 25 years. Liza Woodruff is a children's book author and illustrator and has recently begun immersing herself in the world of screen printing. Her pastoral silkscreen prints included in this show are inspired from our years spent living in Charlotte, VT. The series that I am showing began with a drawing exploring the imagined relationship of the violence of war and peaceful dialog and reconciliation (First Shot - War, 2023) and developed into a series exploring the nature of reality through a quantum, spiritual lens.
